Facing Phases (photography, paper sculpture, acrylics on stretched canvas) is a series of images documenting the ebb and flow of personal engagement with life. The viewer is strongly encouraged to confront each stage of change directly with the knowledge that this too shall pass. Face each phase as it comes. Take the time to know the character of each for you will inevitably see it again. Change influences perspective. Awareness of the perspective gives one the power to change perception
Works from the Facing Phases Series (2009) will be on display at a variety of host sites in the Southern Tier during the Eposed Series Rotating Exhibit from June - December 2010
