In 2010 I completed the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program at
Business Services at Accord Corporation Allegany County NY
With the assistance of the staff involved in this program I completed a very detailed business plan for my future art studio. This is a live/work studio space that accommodates the limitations of Arachnoiditis.
In 2011 I submitted this business plan to VESID, now known as Access-VR , for review. This February I received notification that my business plan and budget proposal had been approved. This small business grant will provide funding to assist with some of the start-up expenses for the studio.
This blessing puts me another BIG step closer to creating a self-sustaining, independent revenue source within my studio. The studio goal is to make work to share with the public and to improve my own quality of life.
